Clinical & Educational Disclaimer

Last updated: June 29, 2026

TargetTree is a practice and educational support tool intended for use by adults supporting speech practice — including speech-language professionals, educators, aides, college students, and parents. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Not medical advice or treatment. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, evaluation, or treatment, and is not a medical device. It is a tool to support practice activities.
  • No professional relationship with us. Use of the Service does not create a clinician-patient, therapist-client, or any professional relationship between you (or any child, client, or student) and the Company.
  • Professional judgment governs. Any clinical, educational, or treatment decisions are the responsibility of the qualified professional overseeing the individual's care. The Service is not a substitute for professional evaluation, judgment, or individualized care, and is not a substitute for working with a qualified speech-language professional.
  • No guarantee of outcomes. We make no representation or warranty that use of the Service will produce any particular therapeutic or educational result.
  • Content limitations. Word lists and images are provided for practice purposes and may not be appropriate for every individual, age, or goal; the account holder is responsible for selecting suitable materials.
  • Live sessions require supervision. When using the optional Live feature with a child, an in-person adult proctor must be present with the child at all times. The Live feature only synchronizes the activity shown across two web pages and does not provide any audio or video. The account holder is responsible for supervision, for the suitability of remote delivery for a given individual, and for obtaining any required consent. The Service provides the connection and activities only; it does not supervise the session or provide care.
